Hally, make that 'when summer is over' - I am not a fan of the summer months at all but I'll plod along.  Just cannot get motivated to do the outside work these days though hence the need for a gardener every so often.

I know my veg patch needs work, but the heat puts me off :)

Me either.  I'm an Autumn & Winter girl.  Love the cooler/colder months, always feel more 'alive'.  My energy levels are never good in summer and I find it hard to get motivated.  :-\

I hear you Julie, I'm the same :P

Hally, I'd love to play along too, as long as I can find a recipe for each theme that mum and SD will enjoy :-))

Hally I am very interested but will have to make sure it is something everyone will eat.
Judy I know how you feel. It is cool today and I have been running round cleaning, ironing and all sorts of things. I hadn't realised how much the heat had done me in until the coolness of today. It is a pleasure to be around, not just exist.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

nights like this are fun, we often have them last one we had was Mexican night tacos, nachos, enchiladas,  guacamole etc, we did a Chinese banquet too one night took ages to prepare but was thoroughly enjoyable

I'm in, but will have to make sure my lot will eat it too.  My DH is no problem, he will eat anything, thank goodness.
