Hi estiny, I was wondering whether you ended up getting the Bosco mat? I just purchased my Thermomix and am waiting for it to be delivered. I was interested in getting a silicone mat, mainly for rolling out dough etc without dirtying my benchtop. I saw the Bosco mat is made from the same material as the Thermomat but at half the price.

Hi MFT, welcome to the forum with your first posting.  I hope you are all ready to go when your machine is delivered.

Hi there! No, I ended up getting the TMX mat instead. While you are getting your TMX, seriously, smile and try to get as much freebies or discounted items from your consultant. I paid $50 for mine and I think she told me it's usually $70. Saw it on eBay for $45 from memory for the Bosco mat so for that extra $5, I thought I'd just get the TMX. I also got a $30 voucher from her which went towards cook books plus she threw in a brush cleaner, 2 x tea towels (not original TMX) and a vegetable peeler (not original TMX). I must applaud her for the other small things as I wasn't expecting them so it was a nice gesture. I did however smiled and asked sweetly about the mat, which was how I managed to get it for $50. By the way, fantastic to use. Easy to clean. No regrets. My friend has the Bosco mat and it worked well for her too.
