I have a large cupboard under the stairs which is the "I don't know where to put this" area. Alo use they open plan wardrobe areas of two of the guest rooms and the cupboard in our other spare room which is DH's gym and cook book storage shelving.
Easy here as only 2 of us living here as opposed to earlier years when we had 6-10. Two is a walk in the park every day.

My spare room today.

Sort of a start to it. No where near finished . Just trying it out.

Great bed with innerspring mattress on each.

It is  a very clever and very comfortable bed.  A king or Jumbo single plus a slightly, smaller bed.

Not sure how to dress it yet.

I'll have to have a look in the morning as I can't really read it . Have to take the sheets off. I think it is Everest something or other. Says bamboo all over the cover . Nothing on the docket. Waiting for bed head to be made.

This bed is mde for the commercial market I think so has fire retardant features or some such. He sells it to hotels etc.
Bought it at VIP Furniture and bedding.

Haven't read all the post, so sorry if it's been mentioned before.. We have a rather large sofa bed from Freedom in the spare room and its really comfortable. The mattress is thick and innerspring which is unusual for a sofa bed. DS has a king single with trundle which looks good and is also very handy. I bought the KS and trundle from treehouse online.

Oh Wow Gert, that is a fabulous idea!
I would dress it as a x between a couch and a bed...with large pillows so that it looks like a sofa, so the room can be sort of like an extra sitting room. I'm also a bit 'into' white at the moment so all our doona covers are white and I add colour through rugs, cushions, paint, knick-nacks and throws. It's also a bit easier and cheaper to change the colours on a whim :)

I am thinking along the white line. Will see when I get the bed head. I ain't doing no floor rugs knickknacks or throws. Not interested in making it look anything but what it is.  I just took a bunch of pillows to the  Sallies. Over all that Stuff and beside it just breeds mould.  This is just the spare spare room!

The bed  is clever alright. Very strong . Called a pop up  or high riser.  I vaguely remember that he said he had them made especially for B & B s . Will read the tags tomorrow as I think there is Bamboo something or other for safety or what ever. I was in the shop for 2 long hours  trying to figure it all out. He was really helpful but two hours shopping is about A years worth to me. I made my original decision  in about 3 minutes until I did the measuring. Two king singles are a hell of A lot bigger with a bedside table than the queen that was in there with two bedside tables.

It's a great idea Gretchen.  Got a better idea of how they look when I went over to the iPad to check out the smaller photos.

Lol, I didn't realise it was the spare spare room! Maybe a cushion though  ;)

Mmm, I think I'll have to rethink, there's no way two king singles would fit in our spare room!

Yeah I got a surprise . The king single is the same length as  a queen plus the bed  head and base if you have that.  A normal single is just too small for an adult.
