Kim, with children it's hard to be everywhere we want but let's hope you get to Adelaide later.  Sydney is the easier one though so I hope that works out for you.

Frozzie - is there a family at school that could pick up your DS from school just in case you can't get back from the city in time? - and then you pick him up from their place? - or does the school have an after-school care program?

They have an after school program .. Will have to sign him up for at least a day a week.. Maybe two..will have to check what day it is!!  Dont know other families well enough here yet.. Have a friend but asked her once to watch dd and she almost went into meltdown .. Long story but Told myself never again..not relying on anyone makes life a whole lot easier but limits what you can do 😳

Chookie and Ral are the most beautiful people. You feel as though you have known them for ever. You will all have the most wonderful time. Then you will have Adelaide too. All because of a machine. I think the purchase price is nothing compared to all  the lovely friendships I have made.

That's true, Cookie.  Chookie, Ral ... everyone else on the forum as well as our trusty TMXs ... we really are very lucky people to have grown and nurtured these relationships.  I know, knowing you all has changed me - hopefully for the better!  So, thank you everyone.
