Just cooking this now... Into thermie it goes ..

And end result after my additions as that what i felt like

A very lemony creamy pasta .. I just cooked as per directions added about a cup of cooked peas to the cooked pasta, took out the lemon wedges and put the sauce in a saucepan and added a few shallots and a cup of cream... Cooked it up a bit then poured it over peas, chicken and pasta.. We enjoyed it but it was very lemony.. :)

If i did this again i woud try to thicken the sauce a bit so it sticks to the pasta better..

Frozzie,  interesting.  Could add 1/2 the skins.  Thickening sauce a good idea.

I made this Lemon Chicken last night.
It was tasty but way too salty!
Does it really have 2 tea spoons of sea salt as soy is also salty?
I will certainly make this again and not add any salt and see how that goes.
Thanks for the recipe.

I've got this cooking at the moment and only added 1 lemon, left out the salt completely and used dark soy sauce as I liked the colour of Chookies.  Have rice cooking at the same time and have the vegies all chopped up and ready to go once the chicken and rice are in the thermoserver.

I made as recipe except for the light soy sauce,  ( I used 1/2 quantity of dark) we didn't find it too salty.  I normally use very little salt in cooking.

Judy,  glad you like it.  So easy in the Varoma.  Did you do the rice and veggies at the same time?

I did the rice for the first 16 minutes then removed it to the thermosaver and continued on with the cooking of the chicken.  I thickened that in the microwave whilst doing the vegies in the TM bowl following this recipe but adding some zucchini and beans.

Chookie you wrote this before .. On another thread somewhere but dont know which.. I copied it with your lemon chicken recipe.. Here it is..

usually 3 veggies,  ( Asp, Red Cap, Chinese greens)
And water chestnuts,  for crunch.

Heat a little peanut oil in a wok,  add crushed garlic and 3 coins of green ginger,  heat for a few seconds.

Add vegetables and stir fry for about 1 min.

Add 1/2 cup of water and 2 teaspoons of sesame oil, and 1 cube of chicken paste. Bring to boil and  put lid on for a couple of mins.

Mix a little cornflour in a little water and stir into veggies,   Boil for 1 min.

Lovely as is with rice.

can add cashews or Almonds.
