Thanks again to everyone - I've been away a lot the past few weeks, but hope to get back into things soon. I must just say, I baked cupcakes for a hundred people for my friend's partner's birthday, and the TM did all the batter and icing, and worked heroically (I was a bit frazzled after a dozen batches, though!) - couldn't have managed without it! :)

Bet you are all cupcaked out Barry ;) ;) ;)  I wouldn't want to look at another cupcake for a long time if I had to make that many.  Well done, bet they went down well.

From one Newbie to another.  Hello & Welcome Barry.

I was born in St. Helens in Lancs before I emigrated here with my family when I was 8.  Still have some vivid memories though, all good of course being so young. ;D 

Lots of good info on here which should help a lot.

Ah, okay, I'll post the cupcake recipes (wasn't just one!) and frostings in the appropriate area of the forum! And once again, good to hear from expats (and everyone else!) :)
