Looks great Yvette.  :)
We haven't eaten any of ours yet they are still in the freezer.
I am looking forward to trying them as the filling tasted good

I cooked your rendang again last weekend and it was a big success  :) :)

I actually made mine in Texas muffin pans with both top and bottom pastry.
Had some leftover and made 2 pot pies as well. We prefer pies to pot pies and glad they tasted nice.
Glad you enjoyed the Rendang Yvette.I made Rendang as well but it's in the freezer for days when I ave no time to cook which will be frequent as DD2 is going back to work soon so I will be having the kids.  Feel like it tonight but having lasagna .

I have this cooking at the moment and it smells lovely. I am going to cool it and then make pies from it. Some for dinner tonight and the rest to take away.

I decided to make one big pie.

I cooked mine from the freezer too Cookie and they were delicious.
Mine were in large muffin pans and DH took 6 into work. They went down well and more have been requested  ;)
Did you line the tin with pastry or just on the top?
I had home made shortcrust on the base then added the filling and topped with bought puff pastry.
Must try a large one like yours next time  :)

I made this for dinner tonight and it was a resounding success. I used 600g of chicken, halved the curry paste, substituted a green capsicum for red, and a tin of coconut evaporated milk for the liquid. It was a little runny, so I added an extra tablespoon of corn flour. I decided to make one large pie,but had so much filling, that I made two pies. However, we only have half a pie left - everyone had seconds and DS had thirds.  Here is a photo of the pies cooking in the oven.
