Visited a little coffee shop where the owner is a real' foodie'. I had a slice of his morning tea cake, which really was my lunch. He uses his leftover muffins, especially the chocolate chip ones, crumbles them up, adds some walnuts, and makes the liquid mix for bread and butter Pud and mixes it all together. Baked in cake tin, dressed with chocolate syrup when out of oven. Served with vanilla ice cream. Yummy. I haven't felt like cooking, so this may mean that things are on the improve. I think that any cake could be used, but the chocolate certainly add character.
