PARTY
« on: September 02, 2013, 10:17:31 pm »
This year, erik and i have a lot to celebrate.. We turn 100 years old this year, we have our business for 25 years, got married 10 years ago and our new best friend and pet Luka is one year old.. So we decided to cater our own party, all from scratch, for 40 pple, with a lot of help from our thermomix..  Just some pics.... the breads stuffed eggs and tomato with a scampi salad poached salmon with cucumber coat and home cured and smoked pork roast chicken legs salmon again the smoked pork roast..  In adition we had a lot of veggies, meatballs, pasta, potato and rice salad, coleslaw, home made breadpudding, rice pudding, chocolate mousse, tiramisu, home made cheese next to some belgian classic cheeses...  It was fun and i wanted to share some pics with you.

It is so fun to cook for people you love!

Amazing Stef!  Did you cook all of that in your home kitchen?

My happy aunt, how did you manage to do all that :o  It is an absolutely amazing spread Stef and Erik and I bet parties at your house are very popular.  Did you have to hire a cool room?  Congratulations to you all.

WOW - what a spread!  It all looks delicious and so much work, but it looks worth it and I am sure you had an enjoyable celebration.  Well done on the feast, and all your anniversaries.

Woohoooooo! That's an amazing, gigantic effort, Stef!!

How did you pull it off single-handedly? I can't imagine the planning, logistics and work behind all that.

Lots of love there. Congrats on all the anniversaries! :)

My aunt is hopelessly giddy, too!!!!!  What an absolutely fantastic spread!!!  Some instruction, if you have the time, in the catering for large numbers of people and the logistics involved, would be very very much appreciated!!!  Totally a masterful effort!!

Congratulations on your century birthday!! ;D and all the other wonderful anniversaries!!  How magical!!!!

Thank you very much for posting those wonderful photographs!!!
