Fantastic job Woner....and it reminds me of Christams too
Your buffet is perfect for the lolly bar, and gorgeous cake too btw.
Hope everything goes to plan, not like your naughty TM, and your Gorgeous girl has the best party ever!

We have been so busy the last few days I haven't had time to post an update but will try tonight. We had a great time but only about 10% of the food got eaten.

For those who are interested here are a few photos of the lolly bar and the cakes, I forgot all about photographing all the other food. I've also included a family pic - not a great one but unfortunately our photographer didn't do the best of jobs.
Here is also a list of all the food we had. Unfortunately very few people ate so we have around 80% of the food left over some of which I'll make into other dishes and the rest I'll freeze to use up over the next 6 months or so.
Parmesan Grissini sticks x3 (this is what stripped my blades!)
Tzatiki dip
Copy of red rock deli Capsicum, basil, cashew dip (Unfortunately I didn't write down the recipe for this but will put up the ingredients and method when I get a chance)
Cobb loaf x 2
Maddy's cob dip
Spit roasted pork, and lamb
Oven roasted beef
Jacket potatoes
Coleslaw with MJ's cooked mayonaise
ILB cake in vanilla x 2 for cupcakes
Chocolate mud cake from taste x 2 for the main cake
We have so much of all the food left over that my freezer will be bursting at the seams. Fortunately i think I'll be able to salvage everything with the exception of the coleslaw so a bit more work but at least I don't feel it was all wasted.
Everyone had a great time and DD said that she was told it was the party of the year, so she is very happy.
And lastly it was a very big night for the dogs and they needed a lot of recovery time on Saturday

Beautiful photo of the family Wonder, your DD looks so much like you. Obviously food is not a priority for young people but it all sounded like something I could tuck into quite easily and if you didn't over-cater, they probably would have been looking for more. I think we all provide more than we need though and the beauty is that we can always do something with it afterwards if we put our thinking cap on. I've posted some recipes using pork leftovers.

Love the pics Wonder - your daughter looks very much like you. I've found young girls don't eat much when they go out, and even less when there are boys around. (My girls are exempt from this theory o
) cute little dogs, what little darlings.

Thanks for the links Judy. So far I've made the meat pies using left over roast beef from Quirky Joe's blog and shepherds pie from I think a recipe by CP but will have to wait use up the pork as I had to freeze it all before going away.

Have a good trip Wonder, it will probably be a breeze compared to how busy you were for the party.

Great photos Wonder and what a treat for your DD to have such a talented cook for a mum. I am sure she is the envy of her friends.
