Cookie you just reminded me of the waffle maker I inherited from my mother. It would be over 50years old and still works perfectly. Tried to upload photo but new operating system won't let me. Says forum has disabled attachment upload service, whatever that means

Well I off loaded my bread maker today.
I love that I can list all my kitchen appliances on one line.
Microwave, kettle, toaster, nespresso coffee machine, vacuum sealer, slow cooker, pie maker, mini pie maker and of course TMX.
Apart from the mini pie maker and coffee machine I had all the other appliances before I bought the TMX.
Which tells me I had no business buying any of the other things that I purchased.

I do not need anything else for my kitchen, so I skipped through from page one to three on here so I would not read what everyone else has.
I'd have appliance envy.
Although in saying that I did spend up big in Kmart yesterday and bought a new wooden spoon and a microplane zester grater thingy - all for $2 each. The last grater I looked at like it was over $50 in a kitchen store...at least at 2 bucks I'll get my money's worth even if I only use it a couple of times!
My hubby loves buying shiny things for his shed - even if he doesn't use them.
He reckons it is good value when all the guys wander in there with a beer and some then say " phwoar, you've got one of those. Is it good mate?" "yeah, bloody ripper it is" and they all stand around have tool envy in a blokes shed.
We women don't have that now do we?

I do have
of course, and kenwood chef ( big mixer with slicer attachment for veg). I will be using the slow cooker for soap after the kitchen is finished as the Aga is a slow cooker.

That waffle maker looks so cool.
I've often thought about getting a waffle maker, but neither me or my DH really need the temptation to eat waffles.
I don't think I need anymore kitchen appliances, have way too many already!

You can borrow mine any time you like Katie, they freeze well so you could make a batch and reheat in the toaster.

Thanks ladies, the waffle iron has had a lot of use and still works perfectly. We always had waffles as a treat once a week usually on a Sunday.
Yes Cookie, will have to make some soon.

I like mine. There are lots of attachments, the one I find the best is the storage one so that you can make fancy ones in advance.
