I have cooked quinoa for 20 mins in microwave. Seems cooked. I lost a lot in the rinsing process
See how the salad goes

I cook quinoa according to Tenina's method. I think it is in Dinner Spinner.

Quinoea is pretty versatile and there are endless salads and dressings to be made.

well thanks everybody i am sure i will enjoy this forum and will learn a lot .
At our demonstration the Thermomix was so good that two of my friends bought as well and now we have decided to buy each of the daughters one each so i expect you will soon have more members seeking help and contributing where they can.
At present i bake all our bread and use Wallaby Brand bakers flour but our demonstrator milled some wheat to add to her flour for bread rolls.
What wheat is used to mill bakers flour ?
We are planning to buy as a group and wonder if there are any co-ops in the Frankston area of Victoria?
In Dandynong we have a market and Hindustan Imports are these familiar to anyone and are they recommended ?
We are on a cruise and expect to get our Thermomix when we return home next Wednesday and it was great to get the two thermoservers.
kind regards
peter

Hi Peter, you'll soon have your TMX, how exciting. I sometimes substitute 100g of milled whole wheat for bakers flour to make whole meal bread, never tried making a loaf with all milled flour. I'm sure achookwoman (chookie) will be able to help with your bread queries, she's an expert!
Enjoy your cruise and have fun with thermie when you return.
