This is what I received from my very kind and generous SS today.

A boxed set of beautiful scented candles and a Camembert and Brie baking dish with spreader.
Can't wait to use them both.

I couldn't wait any longer and opened my second gift from SS.  

A gorgeous enjo tea towel in my favourite colour (red and it is so soft before washing) - Some Clarins products (hand cream, day and night cream) such a treat.
Pretty paper hankies which are way too nice to be wiping my nose with.  

Thankyou SS   I still have a gift to open which I will leave until Christmas Eve. I have been thoroughly spoilt.
When I have opened everything I will post a photo of all the gifts.

I've been wrapping my Xmas presents tonight, so I thought I may as well open my SS gift at the same time!

I had 3 presents to open - I got a really big shopping bag, lavender hand cream, cocoa butter soup and a lovely hand made Xmas card. Thank you SS!

I gave in and opened my gift. Thank you SS (no idea who you are) such a perfect gift for me. Love my hammamas and cookbook. And thanks for the explanation on what to do with it. Such a gorgeous colour too. Feeling very spoilt. Thank you.

My SS sent me a voucher for the lovely MJ Skincare products, which I really love!

I used it to buy a large bottle of the Replenish hand and body lotion, and a tube of Vanilla Lip Balm, which is just luscious

I finally succumbed and opened my present too. I received a lovely big bread bag which I know will get lots of use, and a cookbook of celebratory recipes from Australian kitchens. Looking forward to having a thorough read of that when I have a bit more time.

My SS present arrived and after feeling and prodding my present (which was wrapped in happy birthday paper - how did you know my birthday was in December?) I decided it was a book, so I opened it! Thankyou so much SS - and a signed copy as well.  Very thoughtful.

I am so lucky, lucky, I opened my secret Santa tonight and it's a Mandoline, hand held, just ready for my caravan, thank you so much secret Santa, I couldn't have wished for a better present, so what I want and will fit in the caravan so good, I am so pleased, thank you so so much xxxxxxxxxxx just can't stop using it xxxxxxx

I have a very naughty SS.  Just came home from visiting Geoff and there at the front door was part 2 of their gift.  Not only another gift for me but one for Geoff as well.  You are too kind SS, I feel as if I should know you very well but cannot for the life of me put a name on my gift yet.  I feel as if one of the gifts today should give me a hint but it's still not coming to me without doing a bit of reading on here.

Here's our gifts, unopened then mine opened.  I'll take Geoff's in to him tomorrow for him to open himself.

The booklet All Bread Kneads is by tickofyum's Bee & John Keough, we all know that website. As you may recall, my SS has already given me 2 banneton bowls for bread proofing so the booklet is a nice accompaniment to that.  I also have some vanilla powder, now who was in on that conversation a while back as well as a muslin cloth from Herbies.

What can I say except a big thank you and hug to my lovely SS, you are too kind.

Update - Geoff opened his parcel, it was a brag book which is pretty handy seeing as he recently became a great-grand-father.  He said to pass on his thanks to my SS.

Thank you SS very much. I shall be reading the cookbook in bed tonight.
I got a calendar, a diary, an Australian Christmas apron which I shall wear on Christmas Day, some seeds, the Golden wattle cookbook and a special poem with my name in it. Very kind and generous. Thank you again.



I have been very spoilt.
I also had two other presents to open.
Thank you very much, you both know who you are and I am a very very lucky lady.

An Australian bird mug, a shopping bag and a micro towel for the dog or gardeners hands. Far too kind but all will be used and I shall think of the giver from far away.


And a lovely Emma Bridgewater candle which we will light when the living room is habitable.
