Hopefully it is just swollen glands probably caused by an infection which can be fixed with antibiotics.s

What a wonderful memorable trip so far yvette. The kids are a good age to take advantage of it.

I have just caught up on your adventures, Yvette.  So many lovely places you have seen.

Hope DH gets better soon.  Perhaps you all just need a day or twos rest.  We don't always realise that constant travelling is very tiring and can leave you drained.  Take care and, despite what I have just said, have a brilliant time for the rest of your holiday.  I will be looking forward to seeing many more photos!

Thanks CC we were due to go to Paris tomorrow morning. Instead we will go and stay in Interlarken (not sure if that's the right spelling) which is where the hospital is. It is 30 minutes from here so will be better to be close to the hospital, plus a taxi ride is about 120 franks which is about $200 very expensive.

My thoughts are with you all.  This will bring back terrible memories for some of our forum family.  Hope everything settles down and works out for the best very, very soon.  Hugs to you all.

Yvette, I'm really sorry to hear your news... Fingers and everything else crossed that your DH can throw this off quickly. An excellent idea to be staying closer to the hospital. Do take extra care of yourselves and do let us know how things are going......
