Nah he is all for it.

More may be known after the annual Group Leaders Forum in Sept. I wonder if it is AFTER Sept 8 or maybe at the same time with a big satellite hook up perhaps.

No way obbie as they would worry about sales slowing for the next few months. Already upset in France apparently.

I'm sure Don wouldn't want to get a new model  ;D Having said that he wouldn't overly oppose it either - happy wife , happy life and he loves everything I cook in TMX. Don very rarely says no to my requests. I would consult him on a $2000 purchase though, that is just our household set up regarding spending.
I will have to make it worth it's while. We are loving our simplified life. Would have to get rid of the TMX 31 to the kids or sell.
We will see  ;D

I'm sure the family would be after it Mich. especially after tasting your lovely food from it.

Mich sounds like the set up in our home also. DH has a full stomach, I have a kitchen that provides him with a full stomach = good arrangement. He knows that whatever I buy I don't always tell him I'm thinking about it (eg. cookbooks, Airfryer, KA etc etc) but I've used them and whenever I've used them he's loved it. I had to buy the Thermie cos I knew it was just going to be used ALWAYS, and he has seen how it has really been so beneficial. He is now one of the biggest advocates of the TM and has said that if anything ever happened to it he would rush out and buy another one. I've started dropping the odd remark about a new model coming out. Pretty soon he will think it is his idea to buy the latest model in September  ;)

I can't see them being released to Australia until January 15 if only announced in September in Europe :/ I think I would hold out until they had been well and truly tested.

I have asked a group leader, and the answer was no.. :)

No point asking them Robyn, they would not be able to talk about it.

CP my DH is like yours. He's always telling everyone about the thermomix. He says the same about buying a new one if this one died. He hasn't said anything about a new model yet though. He won't mind if I do get one though. As long as I don't sell one of the old cars.  :-X :-\

Well when DD's house is built you can always give one of your Thermal cookers to her. Either would make a lovely house warming gift.
