That is interesting EmeraldSue . I guess beetroot is jut one of those things you love or hate. Now kibbe would be a challenge for anyone especially made with camel meat!

Love all the photos.  Has given me some wonderful ideas, esp love the apricot stuffing have printed it off.  Just have to get to town and hope they still have quail available.

I did find a recipe for a pie that has the little quail leg poking out of the top, very cute.

Fantastic cooking, has been such fun to follow this! For some reason the quail always look like they are little people posing to me lol. Legs crossed etc :)

Now that everyone has eaten the quail, I can say that they looked like frogs legs sticking out to me. Like the ones we used to chop up dissect at Uni.  :D

Yuk. I couldn't source quail or Spatchcock round here so I'd never find frog legs. I guess I could go out and catch some, although I may end up in gaol for that.  :'(

i couldn't get them either and then cos of my birthday I stood back abit from cooking...if I mention to my DH that I'm going to cook something he starts to invite people around and it gets way out of hand. I mentioned that I was going to braise 2.5kg of beef small ribs and before you knew it he had surpassed the serves and I put them in the freezer and said lets can that idea  :-))

Funny CP. We have lots of frogs around here cookie!  I could catch and freeze some for you.

What could be cook entirely in the Thermomix that would be fun,  colourful and everyone would like? Maybe something we would not normally cook  and a wee bit out of our comfort zone . I can think of al lot of things I do not cook but I ain't telling.

Plenty of frogs here at the moment Cookie, they are singing their little heads off outside.

But as much as I love frog meat, I'd rather you didn't catch them up here  :)
