I got the impression that the Tassie was in some despair Chookie. So sad as it is a beautiful place. We all helped a little over the weekend.  :D

Morning tea at Hamilton in the Central Highlands.  Pretty spot.  Lots of old buildings only one Cafe open.  Must have known we were coming.
Not as cold today and very little wind. Economy very depressed but we are trying to do our bit to get it going.
Had Whiskey Cheese , from Wicked, on toast for breakfast,  very nice.
Exactly how we felt Chookie and yes we certainly helped yesterday but oooo it was FUN!

Weather much nicer today did a day trip to Bingalong Bay & Bay of Fires.

I knew Bingalong Bay didn't have much food wise found out only 1 cafe/restaurant so we went with that & it was pretty good with a fabulous view:

Kerry,  what a beautiful photo.  I would treasure this one.
We have been in light rain for most of the afternoon. Have finally arrived in Strahan.  We have a beautiful waterfront apartment. Tomorrow we drive back to Queenstown to go on the train for the day.
We had lunch at Derwent Bridge.  Sat down for lunch and the man at the next table played Football with Ral in the country.  They spent lunch catching up.  OMG it is a small world.

Looks beautiful Kerry, a bit different to when we were there. It was grey and windy but still beautiful.  Bicheno cafe sold the best banana bread and only $7 for a loaf.
Keep enjoying. XX

On ferry for the return trip home 😢

Had a nice couple days around Launceston, toured around Tamar Valley visited some wineries (for Mum), Seahorse World (Alayna) & cataract George.

We stayed in an absolutely wonderful B&B in Legana (15 mins out of Launceston) - Wisteria Lodge. The hosts Alex & Marta were so friendly, accommodation beautiful  & bought Alayna a children's book as a going away present. We recommend their B&B if ever staying in Tamar Valley.

Today wandering through Deloraine bump into Chookie & Ral 😄 ... small world.

Seeing it's our anniversary today we went for a deluxe cabin & has a lot more room than the standard cabins.
