Couple of photos from our trip in Tassie after the FF.
This is the cottage at Oatlands where we went to see the mill.

We stayed at Risby Cove at Strahan.  This is a commercial photo. While we were there it blew a gale and rained. We enjoyed every minute of it.

Back to Hobart.  First night out.  We were in high spirits already.
Can you guess who is behind the iPad?

A couple more.
At Queenstown, special train trip on Rack and Pinion train. The history of this place and the people is amazing. 3 deaths in the copper mines in the last year has had a devastating effect on the town.  The staff worked very hard to entertain us.  We were very lucky and sat with a young couple on their honeymoon.

Deloraine had a special Art and Craft exhibition.  Bedlam said we had to go there.  We bumped into Kerry and family there also.  This man and his Llama are frequently in the street. The cap that the owner has on,  has some of the Llamas fleece knitted into it.

We particularly wanted to see the artwork in silk. 4 panels, depicting the seasons. Took 2 years, 10,000 hours and 300 people. Beautiful. The photos that I took don't do it justice, but I will put up a photo of a small corner.

AB, it is a display in the Delaraine tourist centre.  If you get to Tassie you should have a look.  I think they run it on the hour at a cost of $12.  They also have a house filled with the glory of the past including the shed and gardens.
The silks are amazing.
