Wow Chookie that sounds gorgeous, traveling down the river. Best of luck with the trivia, you seem to have a winning team there.

In Kununurra at the moment with DH. Boat trip down the Ord River yesterday, flew over Lake Argyle and the Bungle Bungles today. Might go to Wyndham tomorrow then on to Katherine (Nitmiluk National Park), Kakadu and Darwin. Home again 5 July. Loving being out of cold Perth

Had a very relaxing day in the Barmah forest.  These are  forests that are on the side of the Murray River. Massive River Red gums grow here. We had a picnic of locally bought cheese, pears and potato flour gluten free wafer biscuits. I bought an electric jug that you plug into the Cigarette lighter hole in the car, and made a hot cup of tea.
Couldn't upload yesterday's photo so took today's on iPad.

Fantastic photo Chookie.
Bonsai go to Parry Lagoon if you go over to Wyndham. The bird life is wonderful. We saw Brolgas there last time. Also the Five Rivers lookout in Wyndham. It is quite impressive to look out from there.   If you need a good work out The Grotto is worth a look too. It is a lot of steps to the bottom and then back up again.
Have a wonderful time.

Had a great night at the Trivia. We won $20 but not the whole competition. We were delighted to see so many tables of young people participating. The modern music questions were too difficult for us.  Michael Jackson and Prince and the like sounded all the same to us.
We head home today.
