You are indeed Jenny.  Rick rack, gosh I haven't seen that for a long time.  I used to sew it onto the girls' dresses when they were little so obviously your SS is a sewer  ;)

I saw that little tear in the corner. Fabulous willpower - you see I would've taken that as a sign that the paper needs to come off

Amazing will power Jeninwa. DD used to get rick rack on her dresses when she was small as well. I used to buy one pattern and make the dresses all different with all sorts of things. Her clothes were a lot easier to make than the Barbie clothes Santa used to bring to her.  :D

Between the postie and the delivery man, I received 3 parcels this morning.  I had to check with cookie to make sure none were my SS, they were not so, thank you to 2 lovely ladies. I am going to sit on them until nearer Christmas, I hope you don't mind.  The 3rd parcel is one I sent to a good forum friend LOL, it came back to me :D  They confused the sender with the receivee so will repackage and try again, be patient dear friend.

It is certainly looking a lot like Christmas. So very exciting. I must get someone to check and see if I have pretty paper underneath.

I have been checking my SS list and lots of people have been very efficient. Those that haven't received yet, remember it is only December 9th and it is a long way from the North Pole, unless you have a Jeep.  ;D

The gift I purchased online and requested to be sent direct to my SS recipient turned up here late yesterday so looks like I'll be able to wrap it in pretty paper after all.

That is the description of a good present, if you would like one yourself.
