Do we have an 'official' opening day this year ... or is it open slather?

I'm happy to open mine too.  Fly swatter would be handy here too, but I want to use it on DH 😳

In my SS parcel there is something  that feels like a long handle.  It feels like it is resting on something square which seems to be resting on something else. Everything slides a bit . I won't open it just yet  but an looking for a fly  swatter . They used to be easy to find. Maybe I can get a thong one in a tourist shop in town.
