A few days back I downloaded the newer version of tapatalk but couldn't log in and reset my password but today I couldn't log in again then I could, then I couldn't and I've been racking my brain trying to sort out what on earth I had done.

Chrissa.. Same here. And it depends on whether I'm using phone, iPad or PC....when I looked at my phone and iPad this morning some of my posts were missing...but when I checked on the PC there they were. They don't call this the silly season for nothing !!

I had the same problem earlier Hall with the nuts & bolts and almond addiction - I had to post that twice, I hope it's still there!

One change I have noticed, when typing a pm there is no spellcheck box to click.  I did a mock run to test it and purposely made spelling errors. The error does show up by being underlined in red so I right clicked on it to see if they gave alternatives.  In most cases they did so perhaps this is the new method of spellcheck from the new provider?

Lost spellcheck too Judy.Didn't get alternative methods.So please everyone excuse my spelling as I'm a hopeless speller  

I also know we have lost recipes.Judy's dessert and a bread recipe from farfallina

Oh I hope they can fix it.

Today I could see posts in Tapatalk, but I couldn't see the same posts when going into the forum just via the Internet.  Photos just seem to have a ?? in Tapatalk now, no actual photos. Chookie's ciabatta recipe seems to have gone. 😨

I've had a whole heap of postings and pms arrive this morning which had earlier dates on them.  If anyone has asked me a question and I haven't responded, this is the reason.  This whole post of cookies only just became available to me, it wasn't there when I read all unread posts this morning

Admin says disappeared posts won't come back.. I am sorry for that
Even my private messages disappeared..

Anyway.. it happens.. I just hope the situation is safe now and there won't be any problem for future posts so we can start damage control

The forum certainly doesn't seem to work as well with Tapatalk now.
Its doing strange things and as Boo said, you can't see any photos.

Ah, so that's why I had to log in. Luckily, I remembered my password! Though I do have them all written down in an address book.

I think I might use the forum rather than Tapatalk for a while.
Luckily I remembered my password as I had to sign in again.
