My taste buds are 'tasting'. That sounds lovely.

can i just say - this makes the most *awesome* after-school snack. loving our thermomix 'ice-cream'!
i have been putting in bananas to pair with strawberries/peaches/mangoes in the freezer. at the moment i find adding a kiwifruit gives it a nice injection of sweetness. and if i have any on hand ,a bit of juice or rice milk to give it a smoother txture.
so yummy and healthy i can hardly believe it!

My favourite is mandarin sorbet! If they are in season try it! Very good! I add a teaspoon of rum too!

When I have a big amount of lemons, I juice them in Thermie and freeze in ice cubes to use throughout the year.

By accident I have found the juice alone makes great lemon sorbet.

I only use 90g lemon juice ice cubes, 8 mint leaves milled with sugar(optional), 120-150g sugar and 700g water ice cubes.  I find I do have to add water to this mix to get it moving.

Now, this may sound a bit weird, but it was not my idea.  I like it though - use the lower end of the sugar, add a little lemon zest and, for that amount, about 30g of olive oil.

It is one of my favourites.  The olive oil gives a bit of smoothness to it.

Am curious about the olive oil Thermomixer - will have to try. Just made sorbet with frozen pineapple and some coconut milk - I'm thinking it needs to be served in a martini glass with white rum pour over and could pass as a Pina Colada!!! Too Yummy!! Oh!! It really feels like holiday season - can't wait for school to finish - the countdown is on!!  ;)

Do you add the egg white as well as the olive oil or the oil instead of the egg white?

I just use it without egg white - originally the recipe was a granita.

I know you can't give the recipe, but was it gritty?  Did the chocolate get mixed with some cream?
