Made fruity's 5 cup loaf. Thought it might be good for lunches as it can be adjusted to suit any diet requirement and it freezes well. I'm sure it could be made into muffins as well.

Mich, thanks for bumping that. I just had a thought. I could used tea for the liquid and soak the fruit in it before hand. Thank you.

What a great challenge; I remember when my children were little and shopping with me finger buns were the only thing I would buy for them for a treat at the end of the grocery shopping (other than fruit of course). Must make these and that 5 cup loaf as well. Now to think what I would put in lunch boxes.

I haven't frozen the finger buns but can't see why they couldn't. I don't have a big freezer, so we generally eat them until they are gone. They do stay fresh for a good few days.  The icing I used is a basic women's weekly recipe. Combine 1 cup icing sugar, 10g melted butter and 1 tablespoon milk. Mix until smooth.

Tonight I made pikelets for the boys using this recipe http://www.trtlmt.com.au/fluffy-vanilla-pikelets/
We always have leftovers and they are great the next day cold, buttered and placed in lunch boxes.

They are our favourite pikelets Kimmy :)

I just made Hally's Ham and Cheese Zucchini scrolls. I made mini ones so that a couple will easily fit in a bento style lunchbox.

Gosh to think I had vegemite or cheese and jam, or maybe sultana and apple sandwiches. By lunch time it was a molten mass of yuck anyway. Lunches have come a long way. I think the frozen iceblocks things have helped a lot.

I often wonder what happened to Fruity's toe - at one stage she was thinking about amputation.

Lovely pikelets and scrolls girls.

Amber we love Hally's scrolls and they keep well for lunch boxes. Great idea making them smaller. Great photo too.
