This makes the best Chai Latte I have ever had - and I am really fussy about my Chais. Everyone I have made it for asks for the recipe.
I make it exactly as per the recipe and have made it with Bonsoy soy milk, A2 light and A2 full cream. It was great with all of them. Probably the soy is the best.

I am trying to achieve a chai tea latte similar to those made from syrups in costa and Starbucks - if anyone has had any success, would love to hear from you.  :)

I'm pretty sure they use syrups. Here is a recipe for "chai concentrate". http://tastykitchen.com/blog/2011/01/step-by-step-amazing-spiced-chai-concentrate/ I haven't made it but they're all over food blogs online, so one can assume they're tasty?

It will probably taste different to costa, you can change the amount of sugar and spices depending on your tastes.

We had chai latte with our coffee machine which had no sweetener just had to add to your liking like tea or coffee and it was lovely but had it here and wow the sugar.. Whatever that premix they use is its gastly.. Have copied the recipe over to evernote thx..
