It's great that it is quieter than your other two models, that certainly appeals to me, but I don't think I could justify another TMX - DH would have a fit if I bought one!

Coming up Chookie. I will add them as I use it. 😀😀 The different MC had me stumped as it isn’t loose in the lid. I thought I had broken it, but then checked the guide book and it is easy when you know how. It actually comes with the lid when you remove it.

I also find that the lid goes onto the bowl so very easily. My 5 I have to push it down, on the 6 almost no pressure is required at all.
I made a dish from Cookidoo last night. T was ok but not really to our taste. I found it took me quite a while as I had to follow the guided cooking. I usually use the thermomix by instinct. I will try others.

Thanks Cookie. I’m particularly interested in the comment that the cup is attached to the lid, ( my cap often falls and bounces on the kitchen floor) , also that the lid doesn’t need pushing down. Of all the things I have read about the 6 not one person has mentioned those 2 very practical things. Thank you.

I believe that the new MC fits the 31 and 5. I will check. Would you believe I couldn’t find reverse on the 6 last night. I was cooking some pasta so definitely needed it. I ended up googling it as I couldn’t find any reference to it in the book. You gently tap the screen on the speed icon- I wouldn’t have found it in a million years.
I haven’t told the consultant that it has arrived yet‼️I guess I will need to this week. 😀

I wonder if she will want to come out and show you how to use it cookie.  If you didn’t buy it through your consultant how did you get it, direct from their headquarters?

I bought it through a consultant Judy. She isn’t pushy, however I’m sure she will want to pop round so she can tell HO that she has done.

It suits me that way. I don't need another thermoserver.

The screen is larger on the 6, handy if I don't have my glasses handy. It has 4 screens and you slide them across with your finger. The first screen is for looking for a recipe on cookidoo, the second is the home screen, and the third and fourth are for things like the scales, kneading, eggs, thickening etc. I will try and remember to put up photos. I wont use some of them as I prefer to do it manually/or do my own thing.
Something else I have noticed is that when kneading, after the timer goes, the knead function stays there. I think with the 5 if you wish to do more kneading you have to select knead again. (I haven't used the 5 for nearly an entire week!)
The newer MC fits the 5 and will stay there when you turn the lid upside down. Sorry Judy I haven't checked the 31 yet.

Yes it does to me too, hopefully my TM31 will last as long as I do LOL.

It’s extremely easy to use, just different. I think once you can use a 31 you are fine. The only major problem I had was finding reverse. 😀😀😀😀😀😀

Cookie, probably like most things, once you use new appliances you get used to them.
