Dropping in to let you know that I'm having a demo in a couple of weeks. I have a cyber friend in Bris who's a demonstrator, and I chose to buy through her in the end. I've got a few friends here interested in seeing a proper demo ;) and I thought I'd offer a blanket invite to you locals too, even though you have a TMX already :p You may have friends/family who are interested in going to a good demo :)

It's Tuesday 9th Feb, around 7pm but I'll confirm that (may be 7:30pm). I'm in Mount Lofty.

Will ask a friend if they're interested... they couldn't make it to mine!

Hi Snoozie,
You asked about keeping bulk goods. I have a spare very old (30+  years) freezer in my garage and I keep all my flour and powdery spices in it. I also use it to freeze he bread I make. When I take the flour out to make the bread I either leave it lying in the sun to warm up or warm it in Thermomix - 50C for about 5 mins on speed 2 - just so the flour is moving in the bowl. I find this makes the bread very light. It is so hot here that the dough rises in no time at all.
Regards

It was fab :) Seven women came, four of whom want one with a passion but are figuring out how to pay for it - you know how it is! Another one really wants one but is disciplined enough to say 'I can't spend that on a kitchen appliance' so probably never will. Not sure about the other two who I don't know well. I hope something comes of it for Kara, a cyber friend/demonstrator who traveled about 2 hours (each way) in rain and fog to come and do this. However I'm thinking about being a demonstrator myself, knowing our Tmba guy is leaving and there's no competition in town at all. Unless you know of any other nearby demonstrators.... I only know of Brisbane and south Burnett folk now. I just wonder how much work there would be as my life has recently cranked up two gears and it's set to go crazy from March onwards.

I've all but signed forms to become a demonstrator, and I'm told a friend of mine here is at the same stage :) I'm really hoping to get onto training that starts next week!

Have you started / done the training?  Do we have a Toowoomba consultant now / soon?  My sister is borrowing my mum's for a few weeks as a trial, so I may have a sale for someone......

I have just got home from delivering a TMX to Toowoomba this arvo. Hubby came with me then I realised when we got over there why he came - he went and picked up 500kg of oat seed to get planted :-))

Not yet Cathy, I decided to leave it a couple of months until my uni exam period because of the pressures to make x sales in the first two months. I'd rather it coincided with my uni holiday and the beginning of next term, just so that I can commit more in my learning phase. I hope to be doing the training this time in May :-)

hi tba girls.  i'm a fellow toowoomba-ite.  just got my machine on the weekend.  i read with interest the experience the toowoomba people had had with demos (which i am grateful for  ;)).

my mother-in-law (who has also purchased - she had an original TMX) is having a delivery demo on 28 march if you know of anyone else who is looking to take a peak at the TMX in action.

Hi Versaceyoyo, great to have another local on board.  We really should all try and meet for morning tea somewhere sometime.  It'll happen one of these days.

Has anyone been to Mr Organic out near the airport?  will try to get out there tomorrow to check it out and report back.  A friend recommended it as being cheaper than some of the others in town.
