I'm only admitting to one kilo!
I have such good intentions when I get to Monkey Mia of walking on the beach. I know now that I won't, I'll only go for walks up to the bird hide or just down the road or most possibly down to the coffee place on the beach. Perhaps with no shop to buy things I will lose a couple of kilos, although judging by the stuff we have packed in the van and car I'll put on a ton.
Anyway who cares, only my clothes. :'(

Mmmmmm just made these but with cornflour instead of custard powder as I didn't have any.  I'm going to make some icing shortly to sandwich them, mmm yummy.  Thank you.

My six year old only agreed to wear his jumper to school today if I made a batch of these... I better get to it!  :P

Family voted best biscuits ever ( not counting choc chip)  Changed custard powder to cornflour, added 10 g more sugar.

Uni, these Are very similar to the ones I made in Home Economics in primary school. I often push a chocolate bud or choc chip or freckle into the top before baking. They are a really yummy biscuit.

i'll try these on the weekend. I made melting moments which were the same as this recipe but with cornflour instead of custard and everyone loved them. I sandwiched them together with vanilla buttercream.

I whipped up a quick batch yesterday to take to morning tea.  They are fantastic but way too dangerous to have sitting around the house - there is a whole block of butter in those things!

Couldn't be bothered making butter cream so i used some lemon butter i had in the freezer to sandwhich a couple together - lemon melting moments!
