Those cakes look great Karen! Not much cooking has been happening here, have been out with the kids doing holiday stuff though that HAS to change today as we have eaten the house empty  :o :o

Not sure what I will be making, bread for starters lol and then see where the day takes me ... probably to the jolly shops for ingredients lol  :D

Your biscuits look like those from The Cookie Man here in Adelaide Amy.

Karen, can't wait to find out the reaction to your brains cakes at your meeting today.

Everyone loved the brain cakes, Judy!  I got all sorts of gross comments about strawberry jam in different places, and the way I could "tweak" them to show the different brain pathologies they examine  :-))

They were very impressed with the taste too:  I used "Quicker than a packet cake" from the forum for the muffins, and the creamy vanilla frosting from the forum too.  Yummo.

My next piping icing challenge begins tomorrow, when I start on DS3's birthday cake

I'm sure you are up to the task Karen after your last effort.  That was a brilliant idea, you'd win a prize for originality for that one for sure.   Be sure to post your picture of DS's cake when it's done.

Tonight DH and I (my TMX co-driver ;) started cooking for the birthday party on Saturday.

Triple quantity of Quicker than a Packet Cake for the birthday cake, and a batch of cookies and cream fudge.  DH made chocolate crackles with the kids this afternoon while I was at work.  What a treasure  :-*

Lots more cooking tomorrow - I took the day off work to spend in my kitchen  ;D
