Currently cooking 2 turkey legs in the slow cooker for tea - smells wonderful.  Will remove the meat from the bone, thicken the sauce and serve with mashed potatoes later.  This is such a cheap, tasty meal and there is a surprising amount of meat on turkey legs.
I don't think I've seen turkey legs at C or WW? I presume they would be with the other poultry or are they in the deli?

I found a jar of fruit mince in the pantry that needed using up, so I made trudy's fruit mince slice (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=1386.0) and made the house smell like Christmas :D

It is nice and moist and smells delicious. Mum likes it very much ;D

Today I've made two banana cakes, Emerald Sue's GF chocolate cake (from chickpeas), Chookie's no-fuss rolls and minestrone.

Michele I buy them at Foodland - this lot cost $3.82 and each leg weighed 1 kg. After they were cooked, I removed all the meat from the bone (the skin was removed before cooking but there are a lot of tendons in turkey legs which will just pull out once the meat is cooked) and set it aside with the vegies which I strain from the pan.  I refrigerate the remaining liquid to be able to remove any fat that settles on the top then thicken it with cornflour and add it back to the meat and vegies. These 2 drumsticks have made 3 meals for the 2 of us. This is the finished meal.

Apple sponge, fudge widget cookies, Julie O's PC beef and potato casserole, chicken curry, PC chilli and meringues if I can still be bothered. Still making the chilli as I had to cook the beans first which has been a bit of trial and error. We had the casserole for dinner with some sour dough bread and it was lovely.

Just pizza so far.  I am trying to decide what soup to make and I might bake some biscuits too.

The meat looks very tender Judy.  I've never bought turkey legs but have seen them - huge  :D  Sounds like they are great value.  :D

They are melt in your mouth tender Julie - I imagine if they fit in the PC they would go well in there but I doubt they would fit. You just have to follow an Osso Bucco or Lamb Shank recipe and replace them with these turkey legs.  So much cheaper and more meaty than lamb shanks.

I've made more bread, a slice, some crio bru concentrate and finished off the energy bars.

I'm really happy with the loaf of bread I made today - it has risen a lot and is really crusty.
I also made green tomato cupcakes and chocolate ripple biscuits.

Yesterday I did lots of cleaning and packing for my conference at Gold Coast.
I made Not Quite Nigella Low Fat Banana Loaf for DS lunch box. Also Chocolate Brownie for DH to take to work.
Last night we had chicken drumsticks and vegetables for dinner.
