I had great plans for today, but then heard that my darling 90 year old friend was in hospital again. After a short think I decided blow everything I would go in and cheer her up. I had to park about 2 km from the hospital . Oh well, exercise is good for you. Now I don't want to do any of the jobs I had set aside.
Dinner tonight has been turned into a slow cooker version.

Have a piece of corned beef in the slow cooker, never done it this way before but have had people coming and going most of the day and it was the easiest way to make sure we would have something to eat tonight.  Sometimes there is just not enough time to cook!

Judy,  until recently, I have always cooked my corned beef in the slow cooker.  I have been converted to cooking it in the Varoma by you.

Today I made some vegetable Fried Rice.  The rice was cooked in the TMX,  the veggies in the varoma,  and all put together on stove.

It was lovely but It is just as nice in the TMX and I prefer washing the TMX to the slow cooker.  At least we ate though, veggies in the TMX.
