The past few days my thermie has had a huge work out!
On Sunday night I had family dinner at my house (19 of us) so I made curry.
The pastes and marinades were made on Saturday and the cooking was all done on Sunday.
This was the menu
Butter chicken
Butter veggies (obviously just sub the chicken for veggies and chickpeas)
Beef vindaloo
Slow cooked leg of lamb with indian spices (cooked this for 5 hours in the smoker oven at 1200
Cucumber riata
Aubergine riata with sunflower seeds
The above dishes were from the fast and Easy Indian cookbook
Also made Dhal, rice, pampadums and parathas.
Sister in laws brought over magic bean cake, cheese cake, mint and lemon ice-cream and indian spice and pistachio ice-cream.
Yum!

In no particular order I have made quirky jo's almost raw chocolate (so yum), seafood risotto, kale chips, stir fry veggies, crio bru, quirky jo's fried rice.......that's all I can think of at the moment!!

Tomorrow I am off to a sour dough cooking class, using our thermomixes, from 10am until 2.30pm.
We will be making and tasting 6 types of sourdough and bringing home 3 starters as well as what we bake!!
Looking forward to this.

Rara x

I'm envious Rara - it sounds like you've had a lot of fun. The class sounds great, too.

Wow Rara, what a fantastic effort :D

Today I will be cooking a chicken curry to leave for mum and SD to have while I'm at the retreat. I'll also make a couple of big zucchini quiches, one to leave here and one to give to nana and grandpa when I go up and stay with them tonight. Want to make something else for them but not sure if I'll have time :-\

I've made portuguese custard tarts http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=9573.msg141372#msg141372  and mince crescents for tennis today

They just need a dusting of icing sugar
I do the best I can

Oh yes they were !   The ladies at tennis thought they were nice.  It made 16 and there was only 1 left over !

Got asked for the recipe and had to go through the whole thermomix explanation.  I think my teammates are getting sick of hearing about it, although they are not getting sick of eating the goodies I bring :-)

Today I re-did the chocolate peanut butter cupcakes, much happier this time. I microwaved the peanut butter for a few seconds before I piped it into the cupcake, and I did it just as the cupcakes came out of the oven. They are delicious!
