Thanks Bron, will be easier for everyone if you write out the whole recipe (when you have time, no hurry as summer is still a way off here).

Still feeling very ordinary - back to the quack later today!
In a very small burst of energy - and to fill lunch boxes - made some Chickpea Chock Chip Cookies.
Will go and post recipe now!

Well done Bron, weight is a constant saga in this household. I'm like Thermomixer and put it on with the TMX, and a little bit of help from a trip to Singapore and then Melbourne. :'( :'( :'(

My cauliflower soup yesterday needed some tweaking and we ended up having curried cauliflower and kumara soup which was very nice. I'll post the recipe asap.
Today we're having the Chicken and Corn pie from Budget Busters and then I'm going to make the Apple Risotto from the Vegetarian book for visitors tomorrow who will be fed entirely from the TMX.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Good on you Amanda - I know what it is like trying to muster up some energy to do anything.  Roll on summer when perhaps we will all feel a whole heap better.  I don't think I have ever had flu as much as I have had this year. I just can't help wondering how great I will feel when it is all over. :D :D

Quiet cooking day here as we were at the aquatic centre for 4 hours!  We made porridge, banana cake (milled the wheat but a little crunchy!) and mashed potato.  Will try an icecream later.

Well done Bron (and welcome back  ;) )
I would love to hear how you've done it. My weight is a bit like a yo-yo at the moment.

Hope you're feeling better soon Amanda.

As talk this morning centred around the Full Steam Ahead cookbook, I decided to try a couple of vegie ideas to go with tea tonight.  Made the broccoli terrine and steamed some carrot and zucchini ribbons to go with a pork fillet with a port and prune sauce.  Had to do some prep work and keep things warm whilst I was cooking the potatoes, meat and sauce - was it worth all the effort?  No, I don't think so. DH liked the broccoli terrine (I'd call them timbales as they were made in individual pots) but it all took too long and I was over it by the time it was served. The sauce wasn't bad - I converted it from SFI.

Shame JD - might have to check out the recipe.  I make broccoli timbales and don't think it is too difficult.  :-\  I'll get my Italian copy and check the ricetta.

Orange and mango juice followed by boiled eggs here!
For the juice used 1 whole, peeled orange couple of frozen mango cheeks, ice cubes and water - deelish!
