What is the 'Traditional Pie Maker' Chookie?  Is that a 4 up Sunbeam?  Were you impressed with your pies - I still get a thrill when I make them just as I do every time I make a bread product.

Well done Michele.  :)

I have had a few days where nothing goes right in the kitchen like you had yesterday.

Good that you bounced back and produced lovely food.

We have to have the few bad days to appreciate the lovely food that usually comes out of the kitchen.  :)

Michele,  glad you have bounced back. ;D
Yes a new toy.  I resisted the pie makers when every one was raving about them. I am blaming Judy for this one. She said I just had to have one.  ;D   DH gave me a Voucher for DJ, 2 years ago.  Thought I had better spend it.  So bought the Pizza Maker,  this was CP's doing.  She convinced me I couldn't live without one.  How right she was.
I used Uni's Sour Cream Pastry for the bases of the pies, and Puff for the top.and Uni's recipe is everything she claims.  Thank you Uni.
The Pie maker makes a Traditional size pie and is called Pie Magic...and takes 12/15 mins to cook. You can reheat bought pies in it.
I read through the whole thread and thanks to everyone for their generous sharing of information.
Has anyone made Lemon Tarts in their pie maker.   Would it work in this deeper model?

Suzie the Honey Jumbles look great.

Well that information makes your 'made 14 pies' an even greater effort Chookie - 14 full sized pies  :o :o  You aren't thinking of sitting DH out the front manning a home baked stall are you?  Mind you, it is not a silly idea with your skills in the kitchen  ;D

I had a little chuckle at that Judy.... ;D ;D

I am making two dishes of cauliflower cheese to put in the freezer. They are easy to pull out and stick in the oven with a baked potato and a few chicken strips or lamb chops. For emergencies or lazy nights ;)

MF, if I had a few more freezers like Robyn and Hally, I would fill them up with every dish on this forum! ;D ;D ;D

I love adding extra vegetables to my cauliflower cheese too. These ones I made today have broccoli, carrots, corn, beans and peas, all freshly steamed in the varoma :) And I jazzed up the cheese sauce with some mustard ;D

Same Amy. :)

I  have a fridge freezer in my kitchen and another in my garage but still not enough for lots of cooked meals.
Ideally I would like a new freezer for bulk meats and then I could have one for my cooking and the freezer in kitchen for ice creams breads, pizza bases, scones etc.

DH said buy one so will have a look once he makes room in the garage for me.  :)

Hopefully don't have to wait too long!
