Sad news Alf.

I'm slack again today. I have some bread rising in my new large bread tin and that is about it. DH is hanging around inside and that is unusual. He is trying to sell his ute privately and waiting for callls and people to come round. Better when he is in the shed playing cars. ;)
I'm with you on that one Cookie. DH's with things to sell just get under your feet.
I second that  ;D

Thanks. I don't feel so bad now.

I made chocolate fudge to take to a friend's house this afternoon - we are getting together to celebrate the life of his mother who was taken too early :(

It was a lovely funeral service and get together to remember her. So unfair :(

Can I just take this moment to ask any smokers to please consider quitting? I know it's very hard, but my heart breaks for a family of wonderful people who are without their mother/wife/aunt/sister/grandmother because she was a heavy smoker and died of lung cancer.

Made JulieO's fruit mince pies. They might not look as good as hers do but they are really yummy.

I made Amy's Chewy Honey Oatmeal Bikkies and started soaking the pudding and Christmas cake fruit last night. I tired to post when I did it but I couldn't get on the forum. It seems fine now.

I was baking all nite long to the early morning... Must be the caffeine.

I made Bec's gingerbread dough and Mango cheesecake.

Pls forgive my newbie enthusiasm, but I simply couldn't believe how easy they were!!! Cooking has never been this simple and relatively mess free. Love my Thermie to bits!
