Today I've made cookie's beetroot, cashew & Parmesan dip to take to a party tomorrow, Judy's caramelised onion & mushroom tarts for a school function on Monday, and brownies to take to a party today. Silly season indeed! Also taking chookie's Swedish icecream cheesecake for dessert tonight.

I made the Pear Mincemeat from the UK Thermomix website. After the initial cooking time of 30mins/100c/ :-: speed 1 the mixture looked like pureed pear with rabbits droppings floating around :P So I upped the anti and cooked it 30mins/ Varoma/ :-: speed I.Result: a thick dark mixture that looked like mincemeat that filled three jars.Licked the spatula, tasted very nice ;)

Great description CC  :D :D  I'm glad you got there in the end.

I've finally got around it making the chick pea choc chip biscuits. I'm really pleased with how they have turned out, and the kids think they Are yummy. I e also made two batches of Dede's choc crunch slice. So easy Nd yummy.
Yesterday I made the mango icecream bArs - these are soo yummy. I had two overripe mAngoes and a jar of mango slices that had been hanging around for ages.  Very happy ;D

Rich dark choc cake with hidden zucchinis and substituted sugar for dates. Took me only 5 minutes to make in the Thermie! Too easy!
