Karen, I went to the market today too, and besides getting very wet, I bought a tray of strawberries and have made 3 double batches of Tenina's strawberry jam.

Finally got back into some cooking today. Pancakes for breakfast, choc chip cookies, macaroni & cheese for tomorrow night's dinner & naan bread to go with the lamb rogan josh we had tonight.
Ta-da!

Used chookie's recipe & cooked them in the pizza maker, so easy! Had to pop some in the freezer quickly to stop the kids eating them!

They look fabulous deedub. Is the recipe on the forum?

Here's the link to chookie's recipe MF.

Easy to see it was cooler in most places today with all the cooking that went on.  Great cooking girls.

Stef's hamburger buns, Moroccan carrot soup (work lunches sorted), spicy sofrito sauce to go with BBQ chicken.  DS gave us a poly science food smoker for Xmas so added a bit of smoky flavour to the sauce, yum.

Made more KFC chicken today, but it was a fair disaster. Half the batch was deep fried, but oil was to hot / cooked too long and so was too brown. Then I tried shallow frying the other half and there again the oil was too hot (I used same hob I had finished boiling potatoes on)  despite turning the temp down the residual heat was apparently too much. Next time I want to try baking them but I need a spray thingy.

Going to cooking Tikka Masala and Fragrant Basmati Rice later for DW & I.
