Whoose eating it :)

Um...we really don't eat desserts  LOL....Makes so much sense, doesn't it!  :P
May have to drop some off Kim, if the folks don't eat it  ;)

Well done maddy, bit of a disappointment that the recipe needed reworking though -  wonder if anyone contacted the magazine and told them of the problems.

It's really strange...it must have worked for the person who baked it  :-\  ???
I made sure the marshmallow was cooled the first time before folding through the cream (cooled longer than recipe stated anyway), and the 2nd time it was completely cool before fooling in, and it still curdled!
it is frustrating when something doesn't work as stated....such a waste of ingredients!
.........EAT CAKE!

Wow Maddy you truly are the queen of baking!

I am in the middle of a disaster. Cake climbing all over oven!

http://www.stephberg.com/?p=2911
Started this then realised it had SR flour in it. Serve me right for not reading recipe all the way through before starting!

As it was for a wheat free friend I substituted 75 g rice flour and 50 g cornflour and added 2 t cream of tartar and 1 t bicarbonate. With no idea if this combination will work or not.
It is now climbing all over the oven.... And out of the loaf tin.

I only had ground almonds so blitzed the oats, apples and ground almonds and cranberries together as per recipe.

Will report later!
It is currently pouring put of the loaf tin on to the oven floor... >:(

It is snowing madly outside and in my oven!

Here is not very good pic.....

Looks like you will be cleaning your oven on your cancelled work day DJ, hope you had a tray under the tin.

A non stick baking sheet from Aldi on oven flour so not too bad thanks.

Have to see what my neighbour thinks of it!

The scraps from the oven floor taste ok!
