Lovely food Hally. It is beautiful up at Serpentine, we were up there a few months ago.

Chookie, that looks inspiring.

DJ, your bread looks shop perfect.

So far today DH and I have been sitting, setting the world to rights. That is, doing nothing, just chatting.
I plan to make some muesli slice and some hamburger rolls for dinner. I have a meeting tonight (NOR) so will leave the dishes etc to those at home. I'll possibly need the GPS, although it is only a few km over the river so I may not get lost. :D :D :D :D

Lol. Nothing wrong with saving the world cookie.
Made Hallys zucchini pizza scrolls. Delicious. Now working on tomatoe sauce for tonight's lasagne and zucchini cupcakes.

Great pictures girls.  I was going to cook but then found after grocery shopping that I couldn't be bothered as it took me 1.5 hours to shop and goodness knows how long to put it away.  Picked up some spring rolls from the bakery on the way home and even though I know I should be out in the kitchen, I just don't have the energy.  There's leftovers in the fridge for tea  ;)

Yummmm, everyones food looks lovely.

Finally found the bottom of the box of tomatoes.  The house smells like a sauce factory but it is a nice homely smell.  Now to find somewhere to store it all. DD is coming tomorrow so I'm sure some will go home with her.  :)

Wow Kimmy! You should be proud, they look awesome!

I'm channelling my inner Maddy today too as I've just started the Iced VoVo number....I think I should be ok with the first two parts...it's the gelatine leaves (I've not used those before) and the piping of the cream (I'm rubbish at piping) that will throw me.

Can't wait to see the result jamberie. No advice here as I have never used gelatin leaves. With the piping, practice on a plate first and take it slow. I am sure it will look amazing. Good luck.

You did a beautiful job with icing the cakes Kimmy. I have never had much skill in that department.

Looks great Kimmy!

Today I've made a sourdough loaf, currently cooking a leg of lamb on the spit rotisserie and half prepared tomorrow nights dinner - chicken in CP's crispy coating (which JD gave me) and pasta salad.

Love the cakes Kimmy and the bread Katie. Clever girls.

Judy there is nothing wrong with having time away from the kitchen.
