Did you make them first in your chip maker in the microwave Chookie then cook them in the oven.  Love the dark, crunchy ones - my favourites.

Today I wanted to use up a small quantity of chicken and some leftover vegies so I did 1/4 of the recipe Mrs Duck's chicken curry, added the vegies and zapped some peas & thawed out a pack of curried rice & raisins - had to cook the curry in the microwave as I had the TMX steaming my piece of corned beef.  I also took advantage of the steam and cooked some eggs and potatoes for a salad meal.

Made Elizabeth's mayonnaise and some Ultimate Chocolate Cookies.

I have made a feta pumpkin and bacon quiche with the sour cream pastry, a white quinoa salad and some nay nay scones to go with the fig jam I made yesterday.

Djinni, I used this recipe http://www.jeffreymorgenthaler.com/2007/how-to-make-your-own-gin-without-a-still/    to make gin -still 'brewing' so will take a week to report back on the outcome.

Apart from gin we did use some leftover duck to make a delicious duck risotto. Just too hot in Perth for anything else. Might do a lasagne later for the hungry hordes as I already have some leftover chilli beef which will work. Had plans to do more dinners for freezer but its about 37 degrees here so in the pool instead.

Lovely looking cookies Judy.

I made the carrot with nuts cake that everyone has been talking about.  Not iced yet but have already tried it and it's good. :)
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Yes ,  made the chips with the chip maker,  but you need to cover them with the cheese as they will burn.
