Thank you! He had a wonderful day. We got him his first big boy bike with 'pedals just like daddy' ( he had a balance bike before) so we've spent most of the day playing on that. We also put a tent up in the lounge and had a picnic lunch and dinner inside of it. The kids loved it!  Sausages, chips and sweet corn as chosen by the birthday boy!

Brumington,  just the right age. For a tent in the lounge room.  Bet DS loved every. Minute of it.
Made an Apple and Walnut Cake for the Fire Fighters,  but they didn't get it as it was too crumbly for them to hold in one hand with a cuppa in the other.  Shame ,  as it was delicious. 
Going to make the Carrot and Almond Cake that JulieO posted .

Hally,  swap for some rice???? 
  No Fuss loaf,  replaced 100 g of plain flour with grains,  seeds and flakes.
