Astarra you have been cooking up a storm!  That baby is obviously on its way VERY soon - the nesting instinct is in overdrive.

Sue, I would love the Choc oatmeal cookie recipe too!

I have made Stephanie Alexander's Apple Cake for dessert, will serve warm with cinnamon cream.  I've also made some of Isi's donuts for lunchboxes - hopefully they last that long - the boys just love them.

Here's the triple cream Brie I made from last weekend

.....2-4 weeks before its ready, that is as long as its covered in the good white mould, and not pink or black mould...that would mean the chooks get it!

And quark

....which was so simple....adding 10 grains of starter to this long life milk

...keep warm overnight, and there it is.
unfortunately I dropped the plate just after I took the photo, so I didn't get to use it  :-))

That cheese looks amazing. I was going to buy myself a cheese making kit for my Mothers Day present. Would you recommend it Maddy or is it really hard?

Today...

Slow roasted chicken, mashed potato, mashed sweet potato and pumpkin, cauliflower and broccoli cheese for lunch.
Apple and pear sponge pudding and custard for afters.

Hopefully the pudding works out so I can post the recipe :D

....I just realised I'm cooking yet another new recipe for a special occasion. Why do I do this? :-))

Sounds like a feast Amy  :D

I'm making a vegetarian lasagne for tomorrow night's dinner using Quirky Jo's lentil bolognese, spinach and ricotta.
For tonight I'm making Amy's Dutch curry and rice soup and my DH is making soda bread to go with it.

No cooking for lunch as we took Mum out to eat.

Ha ha Amy! I posted on the iPad through Tapatalk, so I think it's just that Apple/Microsoft feud!!

I will post the recipies in the cake thread. DD has just informed me that we "need" another batch of the cookies. I told her she's dreaming!  ;D
