That loaf looks lovely Chookie. I find The German grain mix a bit heavy as is.

I take it you have posted photos Michele - I can't see any of them but I have seen some photos others have posted.  Cookie & CC, can you see them?  Since our moderating powers were increased, I've had this problem.

Oh my goodness I just have to tell you about a recipe that my husband cooked today! We had my mother and father in law over for a (very belated) Mother's day lunch and he wanted to try his hand at cooking for them, instead of me! Well...he found a recipe for Twice cooked Pork belly and it was to die for! I can't stop talking about it all afternoon! It had star anise, orange zest, cinnamon stick...I can't remember what else in it...but I cannot wait to cook it again!

I've never had Pork belly before, hence my excitement at how amazing it was!

Just had to tell you about it 'cos it was soooo darn good!

PM me if you like and I'll send you a link to the recipe! Seriously restaurant quality!

Blackwood, you can put the link on here - there's no problem with doing that.

I love pork belly too, some people complain there is too much fat but if cooked properly, it renders out nicely.

Just and CC I can't see Mich's photos either.

I take my photos with the iPad and upload them using tapatalk.
