Done & dusted on weekend

Banana malteser - strawberry cheesecake - cookies & cream and chocolate Ferrero.

Also made 6 batches of playdoh to weight the ballon decos, and also for the pop buckets

Made 2 buckets, mint slice & Oreo.

Sick of the sight of cake now  :P

Brilliant display maddy - better than any catered party in my opinion. Thanks for the tip about playdough, would never have thought of that  :-))  Love your work, time for a break now - treat yourself to some more shopping  ;D

Wonder, thanks for the tip. Certainly easier with milk and vinegar...don't have to run to the shops for buttermilk!

Wow! The cupcakes are drop dead gorgeous, Maddy. The decor too.

Are the recipes on the forum? Perhaps I should make cupcakes for DH's birthday next week. Scratching my head for something chocolatey, nutty without icing.

Wow Maddy!

I used the icing almost straight away Wonder. But next time I think I'll make it a day or two in advance then keep it in the fridge, letting it soften a bit before piping.

Oh thank you....nothing was difficult, but time consuming I guess....there was so much food there in the end  :o.
If you didn't already know, placing silpat mats over boot surface, stops plates from slipping, so I just transported them as is on plates.

Are the recipes on the forum? Perhaps I should make cupcakes for DH's birthday next week. Scratching my head for something chocolatey, nutty without icing.

banana malteser cupcakes
cookies & cream cupcakes
strawberry cheesecake muffins
And the chocolate Ferrero were Emeraldsue's quick mix dark chocolate cake....then I made a chocolate buttercream, mixing through 100g Nutella, and some crushed ferrero's.  I crushed extra ferrero's and crusted outside of cupcake, and topped with a halved Ferrero.

.....if you didn't want icing, you could try baking with a Ferrero inside the cupcake, or on top perhaps.
