Lots of cooking here this weekend as we had a big family lunch at our house today. The weather was perfect and we had lunch in the garden. I cooked a porchetta in the weber Q, apple sauce, bread and a potato bake and roast veggies. Dessert was Kimmyh's baked lemon cheesecake, cupcakes, almond and chocolate slice and vanilla Icecream.

One batch of yogurt using my new starter (beautiful!), a sourdough loaf, mussaman curry paste to make an oxtail curry, cauliflower and lentil curry, cumquat marmalade (using cumquats that I'd just taken out of jars of brandy and vodka), a separate cumquats preserve, pumpkin and lentil soup. No dinner tonight as DH and I went out for lunch. Forgot it was Father's Day - rather crowded!

I made a fruit loaf today from the Bake Off recipes. It soaks the fruit in cider and then uses the cider as the liquid. It is delicious.
