Just cooked up a Fruity Pork Curry, steamed rice and vegies for lunch then made a mince meat & vegie curry for tomorrow. Getting in the last of my curries before the hot weather arrives  ;D ;D

hello, My thermomix got delivered this morning! Yippee - so I've made pikelets for a late breakfast, then did the basic bread rolls for lunch - these were a bit heavy so need to work on that.  Been out and since been home made mango lassi then apricot and sesame bars.

Now i'm letting it relax before i start dinner of thai fish cakes with steamed greens. Yummmm.

Very happy so far, everything is so quick but not as easy to clean as at the demo. I'm pulling it all apart to clean everytime so far!

Deb

PS I've got mango freezing to make sorbet or icecream after dinner

Debs, I'm new to this fab machine also.    I was also taking it to pieces after every thing I made.  I try to organize what I'm making, so that with a good scrape out and perhaps a rinse under the tap I now only take it apart at the end of cooking for the day.
Some things, such as custard, will stick so I try and make it last.   Then I take the bowl to bits and give it a good clean.
This method seems to have just evolved,  so good luck.

Hi Debs, glad your are having so much fun. Your bowl should be as easy to clean as it is a demo's. How are you cleaning it? Are you putting in just nough water to cover the blades and putting it back in the cradle on speed 6 or 7 and using the  :-: button to create agitation by the blades first for a couple seconds, then putting the dial to  *: and using the turbo button for a couple of seconds to wash the lid, it should then only need a quick rinsing under the tap and maybe a flick with the TMX brush if you have done bread dough or similar. Mine is very rarely taken apart for cleaning  ;D

Hello everyone, I've been out of action a bit lately and it has been a while since I contributed to this forum. However, my TM is getting a good work-out today. I am making my Christmas hampers. I am in the progress of making rum balls & oreo truffles. I have finished most of my jars of chocolate hazelnut spread, and I have one made one bottle of Irish cream (tastes amazing!). I am still to make fruit mince pies, plum sauce & vegetable stock. I'm tired now so I thought I would come up stairs and have a quick rest.

Nice to see some new TM owners. Hello & welcome!

I've just  made some of the $250 cookies from the Festive book and have done Tenina's honey icecream. The cookies are in the fridge at the moment as I will cook them later when the temperature drops a bit.

Don't blame you  :o :o I will be baking late tonight as well as my BBQ needs a jolly good clean again ready for the hot week and I guess that will be happening tonight when it is cooler too so will need to use the oven  :-))

Hi Sim, welcome back to the forum.  Nice to see you are getting your baskets done for Christmas - everyone must be frightfully busy doing the same thing at the moment.

Good to see so much activity

Did a few simple things - yoghurt and mustard sauce for asparagus cooked in the basket, sweet potato for salad, coleslaw with an Asian bent.

I bought a chilli cheese from Mersye Valley the other day and when we had it last night it was very crumbly. So tonight I blitzed it with 3/4 tub of cream cheese I had in the fridge and it made a lovely dip. TMX to the rescue again.

today - porridge again this morning - I just stuck to the amounts I've always used, and it worked perfectly. and it didn't burn or stick! Then I made our first of many "chai chiller" - crushed ice, milk, and chai syrup. YUM. We're gonna need more of these tomorrow and the next day when it's 40C!!! Then, i made hamburgers (never done that before) and was ably to fry and chop the onions, make breadcrumbs etc - and the Tm was the only dirty dish. Niiiiice. Loving it so far! Desperately want to make choc sorbet tonight but the bubba is asleep and I don't want to risk it. ;)

Great to see so much happening!  ;D

Made beef strog last night with rice and veggies. Also make some Chinese Five Spice and using that some Asian Sea Salts for hampers - still so much to do for those!

Today i'll make some individual sago plum puddings, dukkah for hampers, paneforte oh and something for dinner?? Maybe a roast lamb before the heat hits in a few days so we have some cold meat and left overs to re-heat for after work dinners.
