Made two zucchini slices using Astara's recipe.  Yum.

Chookie, I love the idea for cooking the grain. I have some soaking at the moment for bread tomorrow (just 1/4 cup) but like your idea better. Do you just cover it with water or use more.

Cookie, which vanilla bean paste recipe do you use. I use so much vanilla and so do my two kids so it would be worth making.

Love Hokey Pokey ice cream so will have to check out that site. I have just made some white chocolate ice cream (combination of two of Judys recipes). Thanks Judy.

I made these gorgeous biscuits today.  The spice combo was really lovely and it makes enough for another couple of batches of the biscuits at least.

After baking, they are quite lightly golden and seem almost uncooked, but they were golden on the bases and after cooling on a rack they firmed up and tasted wonderful.

I didn't have a lemon for the zest, but I did have some of Chookies lemon powder in the fridge, so I used ⅛ tsp of that instead.  Really, really liked these.  :D

They certainly look nice JulieO.
Troupie I got both vanilla recipes/ links from Nikki. I will send them to you when I get home. I think the Vanilla Bean Paste was from the Tick of Yum website.

Those biscuits look lovely JulieO.

I have made a vegetable curry for dinner tonight.  Will have it with some rice and grilled chicken.

Lovely biscuits Julie.

Today I made arancini  from last nights left over risotto in the air fryer - turned out really well. Also made carrot cake balls, a raw recipe and really good according to DH. I'm on a roll  ;D

Michele they look delicious!

At work today so the slow cooker is making creamy beef curry for dinner. Thermi will be relegated to making rice when I get home!
