Thanks CC for mentioning Chookie's Quiche..
I always buy the mini crust ones as hubby doesn't eat much of Quiche, so it is mostly for me..
But after reading the reviews, would love to give this a go, probably will try it muffin trays so easy to freeze.

I cooked a SD loaf today. It had been rising yesterday and overnight. It just didn't want to rise very much at all. It looks like a small brick.
I also made Chookie's Apple Crumble but I mucked that up too. It tastes brilliant though

Wonderful cooking everyone especially your bread Chrissa and your beautiful cake Kimmyh. I made a focaccia and although it was good and we ate it all it just seemed to taste like normal bread; did I do something wrong. It was from Nicos Delicious Journeys. Its all eaten anyway. Also made steamed fig and date puddings from Quick Fix and loved them but not the sauce with the coffee in it (a bit too strong).

Up early as usual and recovering nicely from a sinusy cold.
Made Quirky Jo's Quick Egg Curry with Quinoa (DD favourite and she is not well at all, got the cold but gone to her chest)
Done a double batch of Spag Bol sauce for the GK's, they are suffering colds too. Will head off to her place when I've cleaned up.

Today  made 2 lots of Walnut and Prune Brownies from the EDC book. Used coconut oil instead of olive oil.  Much nicer.
Made another lot of Quirky Jo's Brown Rice and Chicken soup.

Made a casserole for dinner with sausages and just put anything in that was in the fridge including some lime curry paste; it was delicious.

Yesterday made a slice from the community with lots of seeds and I used coconut oil. It looked set but all broke up when cut today. Not sure whether to throw or fine another use.
