Thanks Karen.  I can put my new found skills of making garlic pesto to use. The roast vegetable calzone was really nice.  The recipe made 4 large ones so we have lunch or dinner for tomorrow already done.

We're having the Tandoori Chicken and Naan bread from the calendar tonight.  It is the first time I've made the Tandoori paste from the start, I usually buy the ready made. Do you think the paste would keep in the fridge for a week or two? It seemed to make a lot for my amount of chicken. (there are only 3 of us)

Just to report the Wicked Chocolate Honeycomb Cheesecakes is AWESOME!! So smooth, creamy and delicately chocolatey. I took a pic... I'll have to upload it first and then figure out how to post it.

I also made Sorbet (Pine/Orange) for the crowd I had here today.

baf65, that would be great if you don't mind? i saw them at the cooking class but given how bad i am at actually using recipes i couldn't justify buying it lOL  can i send you anything in exchange?

oh i forgot to say...

i just used the thermomix to make the pickle juice part of pickled beetroot (omg it smells so good, can't wait to eat it!) with fresh beets.
dh used it to make coleslaw.

the fruit leather....hmmmm...well it need a hell of a lot more sugar, I made apricot, somehow I thought when it was dried the apricot would be sweeter so only added a spoonful of sugar.....kids wont eat it its too tart!!
and maybe I dried it for too long, it is not quite 'pliable' enough
but.....it was very easy and of course none of the 220 additive in there like anything else made with dried apricots!

Karen, here is the Tandoori mix.  Though with the time delay I am pretty sure it would be too late.  I had a big house clean this morning! That's why I'm late for my TMX fix.
2 cloves garlic
2 chillies
1 onion
2 tablespoons olive oil
1cm piece fresh ginger
juice of 1 lime
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
cayenne pepper to taste
pinch each of sumac and saffron
2 tablespoons paprika for colour
2 tablespoons tumeric
70g tomato paste
100g greek yoghurt

Place all ingredients except yoghurt into  *: and saute 3 minutes at 100 degrees on speed 3. Leave to cool.
Add yoghurt and cook for 2 minutes on 100 degrees on speed 1.
This can then be rubbed into the meat and left for several hours or overnight.

I have been a bit slack with my posting!!
On the weekend I made the spinach pizza scrolls again for the lunch boxes - the kids love them and so do I.  With a freezer full of these I don't have to get up to make school lunches!!
Yesterday I made a batch of Luigi's 40 second cookies from the first Everyday book.  These need at least twice as much processing as he recipe states, but they are very fast to get into the oven and everyone loves them.
Last night I just made a basic tomato sauce (onion, garlic, tomatoes and basil) to go over bought ravioli.  I needed a quick dinner as I had to go out early.

My cupboard was very bare yesterday so we had a meat loaf, encased in TMX pastry, then baked with a vegemite and water gravy over it.  Surprisingly nice and the vegemite gravy really thickened up as it cooked. The pastry sort of was like dumplings wrapped around the meat loaf. Then we had tired vegies as stir fry in the TMX.
