Nothing except dinner here today. A housework day as it was cooler. I did do so e rye SD starter to prepare tomorrow and then do loaves on Wednesday or Thursday.

Experimented with my Granola recipe, ( same as Teninas except she uses Maple Syrup), made it without any added oil or sweetener. I doubled the seeds in the mix and added Chai powder that I had made it TMX. Roasted it all in the oven.  Was surprised at how nice it was. Will have it with the Bircher Museli I make.

I had a laugh at that Margaret. I have done the dough for 2 SD loaves that sit in the fridge for 1-3 days. One is a wholemeal loaf and the other a milk loaf.

I cooked the two SD loaves I had in the fridge. I'm looking forward to tasting the SD milk loaf.
I also made an Anzac and Macadamia slice from Thermofun's site. http://thermofun.com/thermofun-anzac-macadamia-slice/
I reduced the sugar by half and it is still plenty sweet enough, and I didn't put any chocolate on the top.

CC, I have read that if you drop a whole potato into the salty soup, it will absorbed some of the salt.
Cookie, I add Macadamias to my Anzac biscuits also. Very nice. Slice would be easier that individual biscuits.
Made lots of Pizzelli biscuits when we arrived home yesterday. Great to make mixture in TMX.
Also made Yoghurt.

I cooked the 2 day SD milk bread from Yoke yesterday. It didn't rise as much as the Wholemeal or rye breads in the fridge, however it still looks nice. I'm having some for lunch today.

Nice baking Cookie, that slice looks delicious.

Why is it that so many of our tmx recipes have such a lot of sugar in them?  I always reduce the amount and it never seems to spoil the recipe.

I made some of Tenina's Queso Fresco today ready to make dinner tomorrow night. I love this cheese.

I also did her Mango Sticky Rice. We had some for dinner, it's very lovely. I cut the sugar in that by half too!

My brother and his partner are coming for dinner tomorrow night.
